STRATEGIC POLICY AND COMMUNICATIONS
I am currently policy advisor and comms strategist to the Deputy Lord Mayor of Sydney, Jess Miller.
As Co-Chair of the City of Sydney’s Nightlife and Creative Industries Advisory Panel, and member of the Central Sydney Planning Committee, Councillor Miller's platform includes advocacy for cities in data centre planning, control over short-term rental listings in the inner city to protect renters' rights, and a unanimously endorsed policy framework for a national climate adaptation fund for cities impacted by climate change, and on-going support of Sydney's creative communities.
Previous to this, I spent five years leading renewable energy communications in the university and private sector, at the intersection of local, state and federal energy policy.
